Website privacy.

Puff Drop’s website and the Puff Drop iPhone app handle information differently. The app keeps your tracking data on your device. This page explains measurement on the website.

Website analytics

When enabled, we use Umami Cloud, a hosted analytics service, to count page visits, general traffic sources, App Store link clicks, sections viewed, and FAQ questions opened. This helps us see which pages and campaigns bring visitors to the app and what they explore. Umami’s tracking code does not set tracking cookies or collect personally identifiable information. We also ask it to respect your browser’s Do Not Track setting.

We can see aggregate information such as visited pages, referral sites, UTM campaign labels, browser or device type, and event counts. A click on an App Store link is counted as a click; it does not tell us whether you installed the app.

App data

Your puff counts, quit plan, cravings, and other data entered in the Puff Drop app stay on your device. You can read the app privacy policy for details.
