PUFF DROP / SUPPORT
Puff Drop Support
Puff Drop is a puff counter with a daily limit that shrinks on its own. If something is not working the way you expect, or you are not sure how a feature is meant to work, this page should help.
Puff Drop is a self-tracking tool for adults 18 and over. It is not a substitute for professional help. A list of free public quitlines is in the App's Settings.
Contact Us
The fastest way to reach us is email. Write to hello@afterworkcoder.com and we will get back to you, usually within two business days.
To help us help you faster, please include your device model, your iOS version, and the version of Puff Drop shown at the bottom of the app's Settings screen. If you are reporting something that looks wrong, a screenshot of it is worth a lot.
Common Questions
I tapped +1 by mistake.
Tap Undo right after — it appears for a few seconds after every tap. Later
on, open History, find the puff, and swipe to delete it. Nothing is locked in.
I don't tap every single puff. Is that a problem?
No. Use the session buttons (+5 / +10 / +20) to
log a rough number afterwards, or backfill a past day from History. The app works with whatever you give it — a
rough count is far more useful than none.
How is my daily limit calculated?
It starts at what you told us you vape today and steps down a
little each day until your quit date. If you were not sure where to start, the three-day tracking phase sets the
starting point from your real numbers. Premium adds curved tapers, weekend-aware limits, and cold turkey with a
countdown.
I went over my limit. Did I lose everything?
You lose the streak, not your progress. Money saved,
puffs avoided, and your history all carry on. The app will say "Over by 3 today" and nothing more — tomorrow is
a fresh day under the same plan. Premium can also re-plan: keep your date with a steeper taper, or push your
date and keep your pace.
The +1 button on my widget or Watch isn't showing up in the app.
Widgets, Control Center, and the
Watch all write to the same store, and the app re-reads it every time it comes to the foreground. If a count
looks stale, close and reopen the app. For the Watch, make sure it is paired and within range; puffs logged out
of range sync the next time the two connect.
How are money saved and nicotine avoided worked out?
From the values you entered — what a pod or
disposable costs, how many puffs it gives you, and its strength — multiplied by the puffs you avoided compared
with your starting rate. They are estimates. Change the values in Settings and the figures update.
My check-in reminder shows no numbers.
That is deliberate. Notifications never include your count,
money saved, or nicotine amounts, so nothing about your progress is visible on your Lock Screen. Open the app to
see the details.
What does Premium add?
Adaptive quit plans (curved tapers, weekend-aware limits, cold turkey,
maintain mode, re-plan when you slip), unlimited history and insights with trigger tags, savings goals, longer
craving sessions, multiple reminders with quiet hours, iCloud sync, themes, and app icons. The free version is
fully usable without it.
Where is my data, and can I take it with me?
On your device, and in your own iCloud account if sync
is on. We never receive a copy. Settings → Export all data gives you everything as JSON and CSV, free, any time.
Settings → Delete all data removes it permanently.
Managing Your Subscription
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they are managed on your device: open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. From there you can switch plans, cancel, or see your next renewal date.
Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Because Apple handles billing, refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds ourselves.
Restoring a purchase on a new device: make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account, then use the Restore Purchases option on the app's upgrade screen.

Reporting a Bug or Requesting a Feature
Both go to the same address: hello@afterworkcoder.com. Puff Drop is made by one developer, so we read everything, but we cannot promise every request gets built. Clear reproduction steps for a bug are genuinely appreciated.
