Terms of Use

These terms apply to Puff Drop (the "App"), made by AfterworkCoder ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Apple's Standard Terms Apply

Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). The terms below are in addition to it. Where they conflict, the Standard EULA controls.

You Must Be 18 or Older

The App is for adults aged 18 and over. It tracks the use of nicotine products, and it is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. You confirm this when you first open the App.

Not Medical Advice

Puff Drop is a self-tracking tool. It counts what you tell it, does arithmetic on those numbers, and shows you the result. It is not a medical device, a cessation program, or a substitute for professional help, and nothing in it — including daily limits, streaks, savings figures, insights, or milestones — is medical advice. Figures for nicotine avoided and money saved are estimates based on the values you enter. If you want support quitting, contact a doctor or one of the free public quitlines listed in the App's Settings.

Puff Drop Premium

Premium is optional. The free version of the App is fully usable without it. Premium is sold through Apple's App Store as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App before you buy and may vary by country.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription during the trial period.

Because Apple processes all payments, refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policies at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds ourselves. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment for the current version of Premium and never renews.

Your Data

Everything you log belongs to you and stays on your device, or in your own iCloud account if you enable sync. You can export or delete all of it at any time from Settings. We do not receive it. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the App to promote or sell nicotine or vaping products, reverse-engineer it except where the law allows, or use it in any way that breaks the law where you are.

No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise that it will be error-free, that its figures will be accurate for your circumstances, or that using it will help you cut down or quit.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the App, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
